New England Country Day School

Full Day Program

New England Country Day School's Full Day Program operates year-round from 7:00am to 6:00pm for children from infancy to four years of age. Children enrolled for five hours or more each day participate in the full day program. Children in our Infants, Toddlers and Twos classes may only attend on a full time basis. The Threes and Fours classes offer full day and half day (9:00am to 2:30pm) programs three, four or five days per week.

The major goal of the Full Day Program is to provide a strong foundation for future learning in all areas of development-intellectual, physical, social, and emotional. The Program offers a classroom and curriculum design to accommodate the needs of each stage of your child's development. The Infants Program offers individualized schedules, as well as activities that expose the children to music, books, and toys designed for their developmental levels. The Toddlers, Twos, Threes, and Fours Programs all follow daily group schedules filled with age appropriate activities that encourage learning and self development including interest and discovery centers, teacher guided activities, and skill and concept development. As part of the Full Day Program children in the Toddlers through Fours Programs are automatically enrolled in the Preschool Program for the 9:00am to 12:00pm part of their day. The remaining part of the day is occupied with other various supervised activities including but not limited to snack, outdoor play, story time and nap.
